Rescuers in Indonesia were searching for 29 people who were missing after a ferry sank and five people died near the resort island of Bali.

Some 30 people remain missing, Indonesian authorities said. The the death toll could rise as search efforts continue.

Indonesian rescuers on Thursday temporarily halted a search for 30 people still missing after a ferry carrying 65 people sank near the island of Bali with the loss of six lives, the national search and rescue agency said.
