While its ongoing legal battles with Apple and Google continue, the beef with Samsung over app blocking has been put to rest.

Epic Games has settled its antitrust lawsuit against tech giant Samsung. Epic filed a legal complaint against Samsung last year, claiming a partnership between Samsung and Google undermined the jury's verdict in its previous antitrust case against Google, which it won back in December 2023.

Epic had alleged in the lawsuit that Samsung's "Auto Blocker" feature, which blocked downloads outside of the Google Play Store and Samsung Galaxy Store, was a coordinated effort to block competition in app distribution.
