We've been impressed so far with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series (see our Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra review, for example), and there's one more S25 phone yet to launch – the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which just got shown off in a new hands-on video leak.

Samsung’s unexpected new device line, the Galaxy S25 Edge, could launch earlier than expected. Tech reporter Max Jambor posted on X that Samsung will release the Galaxy S25 Edge in Q2, which means an April, May, or June launch. The device will almost certainly land this year and more than likely very soon.

Samsung’s Galaxy S-series is in its software era. Maybe the whole smartphone industry is, too, save for a few phones with hinges (Samsung’s included). But overall, we have exited the hardware-driven innovation cycle and are firmly in the midst of a software-based one.
