Various tuna products have been pulled from store shelves in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana because of potential listeria contamination. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Monday the voluntary recall of 10 different prepared tuna meals by supplier Reser's Fine Food,
Albertsons, Randalls and Tom Thumb locations across Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas are recalling tuna salad products from Reser’s Fine Foods.
Tuna salad sold at Albertsons, Tom Thumb, and Randalls is being recalled in four states due to possible listeria contamination.
Jewel-Osco recalls deli items including tuna salad over potential listeria risk reported by NBC and Fox 32 Chicago.
The ‘voluntary precautionary recall’ linked to the outbreak comes from one food manufacturer, Ballymaguire Foods,who provide for Tesco, Aldi, and others across Ireland. A range of chicken curries, lasagnes, bolognaises, pasta bakes, cottage pies, and chow mein dishes are all affected by the recall.
CFIA test results triggered the recall, the agency said, adding no illnesses have been reported in connection with the cheese.
