A man is in the Box Elder County Jail, accused of shooting at officers in Tremonton Sunday night, killing two and injuring another and his police dog.
Two police officers killed in the line of duty Sunday evening were honored Monday with a procession to escort their bodies to the medical examiner’s office and then back home to northern Utah.
Two officers from the Tremonton-Garland Police Department were fatally shot, and a third officer and a police service dog from the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office were injured by gunfire, after police responded to a reported domestic violence call in Tremonton on Sunday night.
