The Kyle Tucker sweepstakes are heating up, and the Mets appear to be right in the thick of it. According to a report from Will Sammon of The Athletic (subscription required), the Mets have had multiple video meetings with Tucker in the past week.

In a January 12 article, Bradford Doolittle of ESPN wrote that the Mets could elect to go with lower-cost options and trust the rest of their offense, despite being an obvious fit for one of the top remaining free agent outfielders.
