The Seattle Seahawks have focused on themselves this Free Agency and while they might be praised for the moves, one NFC West Rival team could've made more moves to look better.
The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks will kick off the 2026 NFL season on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 8:20 p.m. ET against a to-be-determined opponent, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Seattle Seahawks could add a huge name to the running back room if they make the right moves in the upcoming draft.
The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks will host the NFL's season-opening game on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at Lumen Field. The game will air on NBC and kickoff is set for 5:20 p.m. PT. The opponent will be announced later this spring.
One position that looks to be particularly strong is wide receiver as Seattle was able to keep all the team’s key players. Seattle re-signed Rashid Shaheed and Jake Bobo. Additionally, the Seahawks signed Jaxon Smith-Njigba to a massive contract extension.
