As the United States Postal Service continues to face financial difficulties, the price of a first-class stamp could soon increase by four cents.
The last time the USPS hiked the price of First-Class Forever stamps was in July 2025. The Postal Service increased the stamp prices by 5 cents, as well as shipping prices for different types of mail around that time. USPS cited the need “to achieve the financial stability” as the reason for the price hike.
