Indonesian rescuers were searching for 29 people who remained missing Thursday after a ferry sank and six people died the previous night near Indonesia’s resort island of Bali.

Some 30 people remain missing, Indonesian authorities said. The death toll could rise as search efforts continue.

The ship was carrying 65 people when it sank on its way to the Indonesian resort island, a popular tourist destination.
