Shohei Ohtani took a 93-mph line drive to his right thigh, requiring a mound visit from trainers during a Los Angeles Dodgers loss to the Colorado Rockies.

With runners at second and third and one out in the fourth inning, Ohtani got hit by a 93-mph line drive off the bat of Colorado’s Orlando Arcia on his right leg that caused him to limp and grimace in pain.

Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani is not in the starting lineup on getaway day against the Rockies on Thursday afternoon, which was by design. It’s the first time Ohtani hasn’t started a game for which he was active this season.
