The Seattle Mariners lit the fireworks early against the Pittsburgh Pirates on the Fourth of July. The Mariners prevailed 6-0 off a four-home run day in the intraleague showdown, including two from designated hitter Cal Raleigh.

The Mariners posted a video on "X" showing Raleigh receiving the news of being named the American League's starting catcher.
