LAS VEGAS ( FOX5) — The Summerlin South Little League team took its first loss of the Little League World Series Wednesday against the Metro Division, represented by Connecticut, 7-3.

Southern Pa. based, Mid-Atlantic representative Glenmoore Eagle Little League dropped its second round matchup against Midwest during the Little League World Series.

In that game, Fairfield National scored 10 runs in the sixth inning thanks to not only six consecutive singles, but four straight base runners successfully advancing to second base on their respective singles with a teammate on third base.
