To test the proof-of-concept, you just need to connect an Arduino to an MP3 player and play Tsao’s firmware audio file.
He wanted to see if he could write some code to read that file on his own hardware. All it took was an audio jack and two jumper wires to get the Arduino ready to receive the audio file.
With the Arduino put into programming mode, he simply plays the WAV file with an audio player, and the code is uploaded.
