At its core, 4DX pairs movie-watching with physical effects. (Most of the time the movie is in 3D, but not always.) Expect your seat to move and to feel environmental effects such as water and wind.

But if you want to know if the 3D and 4DX experience are worth the extra Energon, you’ve come to the right place.

I’m not so sure, because this theater typically presents its 3D films a bit dimmer, which made watching films like Wicked in 3D and 4DX a bit of a challenge.

IMAX, 3D, and now 4DX have become natural additions to the Jurassic World, so I didn’t question snagging a ticket to the 3D/4DX showing.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is well worth the 3D/4DX ticket price, despite some minor drawbacks preventing it from being perfect.
