iCloud locates your iPhone and other devices that you set up with Find My and displays these devices on a map. A green dot beside the device or green outline indicates the device is online.

To hide your actual location, you'll need to own an iPhone and an iPad, or two iPhones or two iPads (i.e. not a Mac) signed in to your Apple Account with Find My enabled.
