Learn how to format a write-protected USB pen drive or flash drive or SD card on Windows 11/10. Remove Read-only attributes using diskpart.

Turn it off, and it will be able to remove write protection on a USB or SD card. Post this, you should be able to write on the disk. Read: How do you remove the Write Protection on a Disk.

Again, replace the letter "d" with the drive that is write protected. The other letters direct the app to turn off read-only protection on the entire drive.
