The Google Search Bar is a handy tool to have on your phone's home screen. Here's how to add it, or how to remove it if you want to save space.

It looks like Google is experimenting with flipping this upside down, though. A new search bar has been spotted sitting right on top of the bottom navigation bar comprising home, search, and saved.

Google is testing a reposition of the search bar to the bottom within the Google App. This would make it significantly easier to click.

With broader testing underway, the shortcut for launching AI Mode is now in the Google app’s Search bar on Android and iOS.
