Pokémon Pokopia, released in March 2026, boosted Switch 2 hardware sales at the end of the fiscal year, bringing total units sold to 19.86 million. Switch 2 software sales reached 48.71 million units. Among first-party titles, Mario Kart World, released alongside the hardware, sold 14.7 million units, including bundled copies.

Nintendo’s latest earnings report revealed that players continue to adopt digital as their preferred way to acquire games. Digital sales accounted for 54.6 percent of all of Nintendo’s software revenue during the latest fiscal year.
