On Monday, Porsche showed off the 2023 911 GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS Package that takes all of the good stuff from the 1970s and fast-forwards to today—thankfully it leaves disco behind.

This Porsche 911 GT3 RS features touches by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in the Carrera RS 2.7s Python Green including the DRS actuators and body graphics.

The theme continues with Python Green wheels, black brake calipers, RS logos on the wing end plates featuring the American flag, and a “PORSCHE” script on the underside of the wing.

Porsche slipped us a Python Green GT3 with a manual gearbox so we could write this test drive review and simultaneously humblebrag about how many people will never get to enjoy this car.

The latest in a string of Porsche special editions celebrates the iconic, ducktail-spoilered Carrera RS 2.7 that debuted 50 years ago.

Inside, the German sports model gets deviated stitching in green, door sills with illuminated “Tribute to Carrera RS” script, white keys, and Porsche’s “RS” embossed on the center console.

Note that a no-options GT3 RS is $225,520. Unique to the Tribute package is "GT3 RS" script along the door and other exterior accents and logos in Python Green.

Python Green is one of only five "Chromaflair " paint jobs that Porsche makes each year. There are also blue, gold and violet examples that have been produced this year.
