How would we go about hooking up a computer to a HiFi VCR and record the Audio Clip? He has a Sony Stereo VCR w/ RCA outs and a TB Santa Cruz sound card.

this is handy if you have less av inputs on your tv than input devices thats what I thought, my settings for the TV scart is RGB and vcr scart is compoiste I attached a lead from the composite line ...

My vcr input goes to the output of the receiver and vice versa. i haven't plugged the vcr straight into the cable box yet, but i will. but yes, tapes play fine.
