Baltimore Ravens fans were presumably fearing the worst when star quarterback Lamar Jackson left practice on Wednesday with an apparent foot injury. However, the team downplayed the severity of the injury, making it seem like Jackson would bounce back quickly.

It won’t be the focus right away,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said of facing Joe Flacco in Week 2, “but it’ll be in the back of our minds.”

Ravens cornerback Jaire Alexander did not practice Monday as he recently sought treatment on his knee. Coach John Harbaugh called it minor and doesn’t expect it to affect Alexander’s availability for Week 1.
