Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala says “nobody is to blame” for the serious left leg injury he sustained last week. The Germany international fractured his fibula as a result of a broken ankle in Bayern’s Club World Cup quarter-final defeat by Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday following a collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Jamal Musiala has absolved Gianluigi Donnarumma from any blame for the injury that will keep him out for several months. Musiala suffered a broken fibula and dislocated ankle in Bayern Munich’s 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday after Donnarumma challenged for a loose ball at the Germany international’s feet.
