A French social media influencer has died on camera during a two-week livestream marathon after months of being “humiliated and mistreated” for the entertainment of viewers.

French influencer Jean Pormanove died live-on-air during a 12-day livestream. The influencer, 46, whose real name was Raphael Graven, died in his sleep on Monday in his home in Contes, near Nice, while he streamed alongside three other people, according to multiple reports.
Popular American streamer Adin Ross and rapper Drake, who serve as ambassadors for the livestreaming platform Kick, said they will be covering the costs of Graven’s funeral.
For some people close to him, Raphael Graven was living “his best life” in the years before he died during a live-streamed event on Monday, watched by thousands.
