PureWow on MSNThe Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte Is Back in August (& Its Early Return Is a Sign of the Times)Remember 2020? (Sigh.) It was the first year that Starbucks brought the PSL back in August instead of September. Times were dire, the future looked bleak and the chain gave people a nostalgic, feel-good surprise that they were eager to sip on in the midst of all that s***.
Starbucks just unveiled its Fall 2025 menu launching August 26. Pumpkin Spice Latte returns, and the new Pecan Cortado steals the spotlight. Here’s what’s new, what’s gone, and why the cortado matters.
In addition to the PSL, other returning items include Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte. New additions include a Pecan Cortado and Italian Sausage Egg Bites, Starbucks said.
Pumpkin Spice Latte season officially kicks off August 26, when Starbucks brings back a lineup of beloved fall drinks. Alongside the PSL, a few cold favorites and a new savory breakfast item are joining the menu.
