Burrow played in two series in the preseason opener against the Eagles on Aug. 7, and then three Monday against Washington, including the controversial play. Instead of sliding, Burrow attempted to extend a play on third down and ultimately had three defenders take him to the turf.

And now he’s doing it again ahead of final cuts as the Bengals formulate the final 53-man roster after Mitchell Tinsley’s two-touchdown breakout in the preseason Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders.
