The DFL has revoked the Minneapolis arm of the party's endorsement of state Sen. Omar Fateh in the Minneapolis mayoral race.

A Minnesota Democratic committee on Thursday revoked the party’s endorsement of mayoral candidate Omar Fateh, a democratic socialist challenging the incumbent Democratic mayor of Minneapolis.

The state party revoked the local endorsement following a July convention that saw dozens of challenges, delays and miscounted votes.
