This is the first time I’ve seen someone use a Prusik for a safety measure on rappel. It takes a lot longer, but if you feel safer doing it this way, why not? Since Wil was on belay, I encouraged him to ditch the Prusik once he started moving a little. He had a great time! This was his biggest rappel yet at 170 feet. | Adventuring Light
