OpenAI’s Codex just got coding tips from human engineers, maybe to replace them later
OpenAI has introduced a new upgrade to its coding assistant Codex, bringing in a version based on GPT-5. The model, called GPT-5-Codex, is being described as more adaptable in the way it works, as it can decide how long to spend on a coding problem, from just a few seconds to as much as seven hours.
