On 11th January, a Form Three student was killed in a road accident on his first day of school in Kuala Terengganu. According to local news, the victim's Honda EX5 motorcycle was hit by an oncoming Perodua Axia from the opposite direction. The student died at the scene, while the car driver was uninjured.
