Shaker Road in Enfield reopens after brush fire

The Enfield Fire Department, along with mutual aid from Thompsonville FD, North Thompsonville FD, Hazardville FD, Shaker Pines FD, and Enfield EMS are on scene at the Hampton Inn for what was reported as a laundry room fire. The fire was reported at 0500 am and the building was evacuated. The situation is under control and no serious injuries were reported. At this time, Fire is working to ventilate the building. | Enfield Police Department
