What is a disconjugate eye movement? As adults most of our eye movements should be yoked and conjugate, meaning that our eyes should move together equally in the same direction when fixating on or tracking a target. The one normal exception to this is vergence, in which both of our eyes will move in opposite directions toward our nose when looking at something that is close to our face.
