One brother of the famous Nicholas Brothers Harold Nicholas, the legendary tap dancer of the Nicholas Brothers duo, delivered a powerful performance in the 1944 musical film Meet the People, also known as Mr. Beebe. His brother's absence, Fayard was rare since they almost always performed together. Fayard was said to be involved in other projects at the time, so Harold took the role solo.
