Magic e rule - When ‘e’ is at the end of the word, it is usually silent and makes the vowel before it say its name (long sound). Help build reading skills with this phonics rule. The magic e vowels are as follows: a_e, i_e, o_e and u_e. A list of some 350 Magic e words and exceptions sorted by word family as well picture words is available in my shop.
