Hike the Silvershield Trail right of town to see the 134 continuous steps of a long-necked Dino (brontosaurus, etc) completing a 270 degree turn, and all preserved in a sandstone shelf high above Ouray. The hike up to the Dino trackway takes approximately 1 1/2 hours and has a vertical gain of 1600’. Recently discovered, this rare dino trackway is one of the best examples of preserved Dino imprints in the world
