Should pet dogs bark and protect their house, their family, the wife and kids and so on. Short answer, no. Then I get this huge wave of people that tell me I need to allow the dog to do this behavior because it’s natural. And you need to allow a dog to do things that are natural, a common lie told by the force free community. Natural doesn’t mean acceptable. It’s natural for dogs to scaven through their trash, dig up our yard, jump up onto the counters, bite other people and dogs, piss anywhere
