Don’t get me wrong, they were still pretty. BUT, I love a good pink dahlia. If you grow dahlias you know that this year was not great for them. We had a super wet and cloudy spring followed by a hot and dry summer. I had much less dahlia blooms than normal, and I’m learning that weather can also affect the color.
