Update: Ruby throated Hummingbird with a broken wing . The long shot attempt continues with the removal of the cast. We had to use tape that would solidly stay on but had some difficulty removing it without removing feathers. The hummer got stressed naturally so we stopped frequently to give her nectar. She is now back in her cage and flapping vigorously. He hurt wing is slightly out of sinc but she is getting off the floor and hopefully with pt she might fly again. Fingers crossed. | Acadia Wil
