Here’s an example of a piece tied with minimal line work. I’m using a strong wax coated string called artificial sinew, pulled tight this can create a resist. In this example only the very center was tied tightly creating lines, and the surrounding area tied more loosely to allow the dye to flow. The flowery design is created entirely by the magic of pleats and ice dyeing on an incline. These are my favorite types of designs, they really showcase the flow!
