I made this seaweed-inspired mosaic as one of the projects for my new book, ‘Mosaics Inspired by Nature’. Next month in my membership we will be making mosaics inspired by seaweed. This video shows me working on a seaweed inspired mosaic last year. The mosaic is made with two different kinds of slate plus some hand-made filati and little bits of stone and porcelain tile. All the pieces are set into a bed of pigmented tile adhesive/thinset. I’ll be hosting a live teaching session inside the membership on Tuesday 4th November, where we’ll explore lots of ways to make seaweed inspired mosaics. If you’d
