There have been many nail-biting moments in the history of the horse show, however one of the most famous is undoubtedly the high jump record set by Nick Skelton and Lastic in 1978. Twenty-one year old Nick and Lastic took three attempts to clear the fence at the height of 2.32m, finally sailing over it on their third attempt. We still hold a high jump competition today!
