For nearly 80 minutes, the Moon will glow in a rich coppery shade, creating a scene that feels almost unreal. This beautiful “Blood Moon” happens because sunlight passes through Earth’s atmosphere. The atmosphere filters out most of the blue light and bends the red and orange light toward
