This nearly mint condition Silvertone 1482 belongs to a local friend who brought it in a few years ago. He got it and it didn't work at all, but everything was in great shape and all original. The problem turned out to be a burned out dropping resistor that left the factory with the wrong value in place - 20ohms instead of 2.2k! A couple of new tubes in place, and that one resistor swap put everything almost dead-on perfect to the schematic values. I'm guessing it was in such great shape because
