This time lapse, the first of two captured yesterday (Sunday) displays a deck of high clouds over Hapuna Beach here on the Big Island in Hawaii Sunday morning. Waviness can be seen in these high clouds at times--i.e. "gravity waves"---a product in part of the wind flow over the island's volcanoes and on the shifts in wind direction and speed through the atmosphere with height.
